About Us
Dr. Priyal Mangrola
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Priyal earned her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Texas Tech University, followed by a Master of Public Health. She then attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine before completing a one-year General Practice Residency at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
She went on to specialize in pediatric dentistry at Saint Louis University, where she also trained at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. During residency, Dr. Priyal gained extensive experience caring for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs.
Dr. Priyal believes dental visits should feel a lot less scary and a lot more fun. Her goal is to create a comfortable, positive environment where kids feel at ease, and parents leave feeling informed and confident. She has a special love for preventative dentistry—because preventing cavities is much more fun than fixing them.
When she’s not talking about teeth, Dr. Priyal is usually spending time with her husband and two kids, planning her next trip, or attempting to improve her golf game. She’s a lifelong Houston sports fan and remains fiercely loyal to the Texans, Rockets, and Astros, although living in Chicago has taught her to politely appreciate the local teams too. She’s always happy to talk sports—just maybe not about her golf score.
